In plain English

The calculator is light on tracking. It does not use cookies to store your salary figures or identify you — those figures stay in your browser and are never uploaded. The storage that is used falls into two groups.

1. Essential / preferences

• Language and theme — your EN/EL choice and light/dark preference are saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers them. They never leave your device.
• Hosting — the site is served through Cloudflare, which may set a strictly necessary cookie for security.

2. Advertising (Google AdSense)

To keep the calculator free, the site uses Google AdSense. Google and its partners may set cookies — including the DoubleClick cookie — to serve and measure ads, and, where you consent, to personalise them based on your prior visits to this and other sites.

• Manage or turn off personalised ads at Google Ads Settings.
• Opt out of many vendors at aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.eu.
• In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, personalised-advertising cookies are set only after you consent via the notice shown on the site.

Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies and clear local storage in your browser settings at any time. Blocking preference storage will reset your language and theme; blocking advertising cookies means ads won't be personalised.
